GENERAL INFORMATION

TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) gives the grant to in where Turkey private companies’ R&D projects in order to support research, technology development and improvements activities. In this way, it is planned to developTurkey’s industry sector and encourage making R&D culture.

Within the context of program, 16422 project application were taken between 1995-2012 years. 9721 projects of these projects were supported within the context of Tubitak grants. These projects’ total amount were 2,9 billion Turkish Liras. It is stated that project applications’ 75% are belong to small businesses and 25% are belong to big corporations.
