After the publication of the Regulation in July 2008, so far;

• About 170 enterprises have made application this program,
• 134 enterprises from 13 different sector were found eligible to establish R&D center,
• About 14.000 R&D staff and technical support personnel are working in current R&D centers,
• About 4,80 billion TL amount R&D expenditures have been made by the enterprises.

What is the purpose of this program?
The purposes of this program are:

• To provide international competition,
• To provide producing technological information,
• To provide increasing product quality and standard,
• To promote R&D investments,
• To provide increasing the number of qualified R&D staff.

Who can apply to this program?

• Units of capital companies that are located in Turkey and organized as a separate unit within the organizational structure,
• Exclusively in R&D and innovative activities at least 50 full-time R&D personnel ,
• Implementation of R&D activities in Turkey,
• Enterprise should have R&D management capability and capacity regarding to technological assets, R&D human resources, and information resources.

What are the incentives and exemptions provided to enterprises with R&D Centers?

• R&D allowance,
• Incentives for withholding of income tax,
• Insurance premium support,
• Stamp tax exemption,
• Techno-initiative capital support,
• First materials expenses,
• Depreciations,
• General expenses are supported in this program.

What is the support time?
The duration of support is until 31 December 2023.
